So, the conclusion of Infolinks’ specialists: the highest CTR is observed during from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the best day for clicks is Friday.
The best times for clicks
Users interact with ads more actively during the day, to evening the number of clicks decreases.
The peak of clickability is accounted for the period from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., when visitors appeal to ads by 14% higher than average CTR was calculated by Infolks.
A significant drop in click-through-rate is diametrically opposite to the morning peak. It comes between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
The best day for clicks
The lowest value of clickability is on Wednesdays, when it drops to 1.86% below than Infolks’ average CTR.

The best states for clicks
Four states have the highest CTR. They are located in the southern part of the U.S.: Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Mississippi.
Also four states have the lowest click-through-rate. They are scattered across the USA: Washington, Georgia, Iowa, California.

The data is compiled from ad delivery for the first quarter of 2013 from Infolinks In3 platform, which powers monetization for over 100 000 websites in 128 countries. The Infolinks average CTR was used as the benchmark for all the calculations.
