Everyone does it… and it could be killing THOUSANDS of Acres of Grass a Year!
The Scenario:
Your getting ready for your morning Starbucks run when you notice that the one or two cup holders in your car were taken over by yesterdays Starbucks and you’ve forgot to make room for Today’s run!
To make matters worse – the Starbucks you visited happened not to have that nice convenience trash can waiting for your just after the drive-through to dump your existing Starbucks. Now you have a problem… You know that dumping Coffee into the parking lot will result in a dark stain as well as potential embarrassment. You then do the only thing you thought was right and dump it into a conspicuous spot: into the nearest patch of grass. Grass hides Coffee well after all – or does it?
Rest assured that this same scenario happens to thousands of happy Starbucks customers on a daily basis. Just when you thought it was safe to toss your leftover Starbucks Coffee in some grass to make room for your new Starbucks run – you now know it’s not and your contributing to perhaps thousands of acres of Coffee killed grass a year! Now of course this is not fact but I am assuming based on how many people I know who go to Starbucks and dump out left over Starbucks somewhere…
Just when you thought Starbucks was going green…
