If your in the market for a domain name there’s no doubt that you’ve come across heavy hitters likeGoDaddy and Network Solutions but chances are that unless your a hardcore domain name investor/junkie then you might never have heard about the hidden domain name gem, Name.com.
This is how I met Name.com
Several years ago I purchased a premium domain name from a Vendor I’ve never met before. In order for having to pay the fee for the domain and re-registering the domain name again the vendor recommended that I sign up for a Free Name.com account so he could push the domain to me for free, and I did. The transfer was smooth and while I was playing around with their massive domain name tools I suddenly became of awe with the simplicity of the control panel, the responsiveness of their customer service team and the clean, non annoying solicitation zoo that companies like GoDaddy cram into their control pane.
As a domain investor I am glad I fell into Name.com and only have the vendor to thank for the simple invite to transfer the domain. Since I’ve signed up with Name.com I actively promote them as my personal and my companies exclusive choice for domain name registration. Prior to name.com I registered a lot of my domain names with GoDaddy and 1and1 (which was a complete joke) and now actively promote name.com as our companies choice for domain name registration.
In addition, Name.com is located in Colorado (Chery Creek) and are some of the finest folks you will ever meet. Next time you’re thinking about registering a top level domain name (.com, .net. org. info etc..) you’ll want to give Name.com a try and can thank me later. Signing up with Name.com for all of my domain name registrations has not only saved me a lot of time but a lot of money as well.
