First… if anyone is the man Jason Calacanis is. I just fell on this video of Jason talking about “How to Kill Google” and he makes some very good points. What if major publishing companies decided to ban Google unless Google paid them to allow content indexing? Jason uses the example of the New York Times.
Let’s say the New York Times tells Google they want a certain $ per month for indexing content. If Google opts out, all they have to do is sell the offer to Bing and advertise Bing as the exclusive Search Engine content provider for the New York Times… ok enough from me check out the video below.
