Some 3 or 4 months ago I met up with Cade and Nick from Iniquitous to grab a bite to eat, meet each other and have a quick talk about the local Denver SEO scene, a scene I wasn’t really a part of for the 9 years I’ve been doing online marketing. Prior to meeting with these guys I had no real interest in trying to compete for Denver SEO among other keywords. I was already busy as it was and didn’t have much time to spend on my own website. After about an hour of lunch and a few beers I decided to jump in.
I’m not going to lie, there were nights that I was pumping a lot of hours into my own website and seeing very little growth potential. Denver is saturated with talented SEOs so getting top placement wasn’t going to be an easy challenge, in fact I could probably point out at least two separate occasions where I was close to throwing in towel – but I didn’t and I’m glad I pushed forward.
I’m typically pretty open about my SEO tactics and when I’m not it’s pretty easy to figure out what I’m doing with the proper tools – in fact, it’s nothing special…
So, here’s my official ‘thank-you’ to the gang over at Iniquitous for putting me up to the task – now I can only hope it pays off… Many think links are to blame but I have a different prospective that contributed to my success – this is something you will learn over time by reading my blog… Simple tips and tricks of the trade. I’ve met with a lot of SEOs to discuss my thinking and some think I’m crazy – but these particular (non link related) tactics really do work…
