I don’t watch a heck-of a lot of T.V but since iClick Creative has turned into a leading Denver Ad Agency I’ve started to pay a bit more attention on how businesses try to brand themselves and the investments they dump into T.V and Radio Advertising. Here’s my official Top 5 Worst T.V Commercials in Denver list…
#5: Colorado Roofing & Exteriors (ColoradoRoofing.com)
Colorado Roofing & Exteriors kicks off our Top 5 Worst T.V. Commercials in Denver with the annoying Colorado Roofing.com jingle. Colorado Roofing are serious contenders in the local arena. Combine some great online advertising with a better presented and produced T.V Commercial and they might have a chance to take the majority of the cake…
#4: Sonny’s Rocks (SonnysRocks.com)
Sonny’s Rocks to me sounds a bit… Trailer Park. They don’t do a very good job in my opinion in marketing value. Between their Craigslist Ads, their Horrific Website and their almost as bad T.V Commercial I don’t think you will find me buying any diamonds from Sonny’s Rocks anytime soon…
#3: Frank Azar (FDAzar.com)
Frank Azar is known by many as the local ambulance chaser. Though his commercials are horrific and by that I mean probably one of the worst produced commercials I’ve seen thus far – they are obviously affective otherwise he wouldn’t keep dumping cash into these poorly produced segments. In my opinion – Frank Azar appeals most to bottom feeders. By bottom feeders I mean those looking for a free handout or a way to make some cash quickly while dumping sums of cash into Frank.
#2: At the Beach Tanning Salon (atbtanning.com)
At the beach Tanning’s Commercial sucks. There is no better way to put it. I don’t see how marketing a trashing looking and sounding cartoon character with an annoying voice has any appeal to anyone. In fact the commercial is so annoying that I find myself quickly shutting off the set anytime a At the Beach Tanning Commercial goes on the air.
… and the Number 1 worst T.V Commercial in Denver, CO goes to…
#1: Time Plumbing & Heating AKA 303-Plumber
I heard this commercial for the first time yesterday. This again was a very poorly produced commercial that doesn’t really say anything other than if you need a Plumber call 303-Plumber that combines and poorly scripted set and probably the worst jingle I’ve heard to date. Very annoying and in my opinion it doesn’t give enough information nor builds any trust with viewers. If a home owner is going to have someone into their home they want to know who they are dealing with and this particular commercial doesn’t say trust.
