3 Ideas to make money when you’ve been laid off – 2 don’t work

Most likely you can guess which one works but let’s first touch on which ideas don’t work and why.

1st – Pyramid Schemes: This is a tactic that everyone is almost too familiar with that comes packaged in a pretty nice pink box with lots of ‘opportunities’ to get rich quick – most of which require you to dip in some kind of investment that never pays off. If your running low on cash, or looking to make some decent money, avoid Pyramid schemes like you do the line at the local grocery store with the lady dragging 4 cartfuls of food.

2nd – Get Rick Quick Online (i.e. Google Adsense.) Now, don’t get me wrong there is deffiently some money to be made online through affiliate programs and ad publishing like Google Adsense offers but this is NO way to make money quick unless you already run a website with a nasty amount of traffic, in fact so much traffic you get shut down by your ISP for regularly going over your bandwidth limit. If that’s not the case, it might be a good hobby to jump into but don’t expect it to pay your bills off the get-go.

3rd – Start your own business. Find something you like, or enjoy doing and really dig down deep, find your passion bucket and pull everything you got from it. Everyone has at least 1 passion right?
