1. Do not tell your friends too much

Social networks “open” a window into the lives of our friends and sometimes, this window shows us much more than we want to see. All your friends don't need to know every step of your child, all the details of your diet, hygiene, what are you doing in the bathroom, gym or in cinema. Leave a little personal space for yourself.

2. Do not turn your personal page into own platform

If you like writing pretentious speech, pouring your political, moral, and personal views, you may soon lose your friends, you become an evangelist.

The rule is: if your friends and family do not want to listen to your words about anything personally, they probably will not want to read about it on your page in social networks. And translating each comment into the mainstream of their beliefs, you run the risk of being ignored.

3. Do not turn social network into the book of complaints

Virtual killjoy is much better than virtual preacher – person using Facebook, Twitter or Google+ instead of therapist.

Complaining about work from time to time – is acceptable. But constant negative to you friend – not the best way.

4. Don't send your friends news interesting just for you

Believe, your friends and family are happy you know how football team played tonight, or what clothes actors appeared at festival, but if they are really interested, they will subscribe to websites of their idols.

5. Don't feel inspirer

Sometimes it's interesting to find fun fact shared by one of your friends. But constant reading passages of great scientists, philosophers, wise women and successful businessmen are unlikely to inspire someone to do something useful, in addition to unsubscribe from your friend's updates.

6. Don't make the number of friends an obsession

7. Don't imagine yourself an expert of social networks

9. Don't write a phrase whose meaning is clear only to you

When you write: “Wow,” hoping that all your friends will show unprecedented interest in your person, trying to find out what happened, there is no guarantee that this does happen, your readers will likely ignore you, without understanding what that phrase meant.

Social networks – not a personal diary. If you want to share something with your friends, do it so that they understand you. The first step in this direction – less abbreviations.

10. Don't post photos that your friends will be well pleased to see

It is better to refrain from posting “kissing” photos that you shoot yourself, and a photo of the naked body.

If you try to “sin no more” on social networks, following the rules, very soon your charisma and personality will do the job, and you'll have many quality friendships.
